Since the Path of Exile: Delirium League has been released successfully, now this is the perfect time to share with you some good starter builds. If you are a new player, then you should notice that this is quite important cause it can make the difference between enjoying the game or giving up in frustration.

What Map Mods to Use for the Best Loot

There are a lot of mods for maps, but this league we need to focus on getting more mobs on the map. Mods that can help us with this are :

More Magic Monsters

More Rare Monsters

Bloodline( Magic or Rare)

Pack size

To increase it even more, we will be using some mods from the map device, which will introduce even more mobs – it all depends on your character’s survivability. There’s been a lot of rumors about “Harbour Bridge farming” being profitable. The number of rewards you get is indeed high, but they don’t have a high value on the market. It depends on your RNG, but in the long run, you won’t get ahead.

Don’t Pss up on Orbs Just Yet

Delirium orbs are underrated, and I am not talking about the expensive ones, like ”Skittering,” “Blighted,” or “obscured.” Orbs like “Armorphus Delirium Orb” can quickly bring you a nice 40C profit in just one run.

In one of my runs, on a tier 14 map with amorphous tree orbs used, I managed to farm up to 50c without counting the currency drops and priced items. With the current price, the profit on one run is 35C in 3-4 minutes.

Simulacrum Splinters Can Be Profitable As Well

Simulacrum and simulacrum splinters drop in almost every run (while it is a map from the atlas).

I must be honest. I didn’t get to run a lot of simulacrum maps, only one, where I barely made 30c ( without counting a lucky exalt). If you manage to collect 300 spinters, you can give it a try, but I honestly recommend to sell it for 70c, which is a sure profit from time to time. You can also sell the fragments, which can earn some juicy currency.

Delving Has its Advantages

If the new league isn’t for you, then you can also earn some juicy currency by delving. You can easily make enough sulfite to investigate for some time. Fossils’ prices will change; that’s why you must check their price and focus on the specific region; many sites will explain where you can drop the particular fossil.

A must-have in this league is a good build, one that can clear maps fast and survive the overwhelming packs of monsters. I currently run a cyclone-impale build, with 100k DPS. It is not expansive, but it can use some improvements, and you will get there with the currency you’ll be making. You should look for builds that can cover a lot of the map in a short time. Cyclone, for example, sometimes fails to include the large maps, like Wasteland, where the mobs are spread all around the map.

In Path of Exile Delirium, the league mechanic requires very specific builds depending on what you’ll like to achieve out of each encounter. When activating the Mirror of Delirium, a fog covers a large area of the map, however, the fog is not static and will move in one direction. If you do not move with it, the fog will blow past and end the encounter. This presents a few things to think about in terms of potential Starter builds for 3.10.

We’ve put together five great starter guides for the new league, all of which are budget-friendly and capable of clearing all of the Path of Exile: Delirium content. Most importantly, these are FUN builds to play.

Arc Witch Elementalist

The most popular build we recommend for Delirium is the Enki Witch build. Enki does a great job keeping this build totally up to date and relevant for every patch. The lightning skill Arc is a strong skill by itself that chains multiple enemies, which is what this build is centered around. It’s a budget-friendly build great for new players and veterans alike.

With this build, you will be able to leech and become immune to elemental damage. You can run this build entirely on average rare gear, but some recommended items would be Inpulsa’s Broken Heart, Mind of the Council, Essence Worm, and Doryani’s Catalyst.

Enki’s guide is easy to follow and will help new players learn a lot of things about Path of Exile. Check out his guide here and follow along if you enjoy playing caster builds. You will not be disappointed.

Bane Witch Occultist

Thi3n always has some great builds that are well received by the Path of Exile community. This build is centered around Bane, which applies chaos damage debuffs to enemies in an area. With more area of effect, you can cover more area with the skill.

Chaos damage debuff deals more damage and lasts longer for each curse applied to the enemy. For this reason, you should link curses to the Bane skill to scale the damage. This build uses the Occultist ascendancy to benefit from Profane Bloom passive, which grants a 25% chance for enemies to explode and do chaos damage to enemies around them.

Profane Bloom also makes curse immune enemies able to become cursed, which is a huge benefit for the build. Occultist also provides other great keystones to help with the build. Overall, this is a great build to use as a league starter and leveling build if you follow Thi3n’s guide.

Incinerate Elementalist

This witch build focuses on incinerate, a channeling skill that grows the longer you channel it. There are eight stages to this skill, and when you stop channeling it explodes in a large area and ignites everything in its path dealing an additional 500% damage.

For this build, you’ll use the Elementalist ascendancy to help with higher direct damage, bigger AoE, and additional herald utility. The build is overall fun to play, capable of clearing all content, and flexible.

Cyclone Slayer

Dex2644’s cyclone build is a solid league starter build that can complete most content the game has to offer. There are no specific required items for this build, making it a great budget build. If you like the cyclone playstyle it is worth checking out and giving it a try.

Cyclone is a channeling movement speed attack spell that grows more powerful the longer you channel it. This build utilized the impale mechanic, which lets you stack damage onto the enemy for each hit. It’s one of the best ways to reach high physical DPS numbers in the current meta.

You’ll want to use the Duelist and spec into Slayer ascendancy so you can increase damage against bosses and use cull, which will kill bosses instantly when they reach 20% health. The area of effect and crits from cyclone will also be increased, with a nice bonus to crit multiplier.

Cyclone Champion

Here’s another cyclone build, which is mainly different from Dex2644’s because this one uses claws instead of foils. One of the benefits of claws is the ability to life leech, allowing you to gain life on hit. This cyclone build is also played as the Champion ascendancy instead of Slayer.

The build utilizes the Taunt mechanic, which also works as a direct damage multiplier. You also don’t need to worry about hit chance with Champion because you will have 100% hit accuracy against taunted enemies, allowing you to focus on other stats like damage or health.
